Thomas S. Klobucher, aka Tom, is a future based Entrepreneur, Author, Speaker, and CEO at Thomas Interiors, a Chicago area office planning and furnishings firm that he founded in 1977 with the corporate vision to “Improve The Office Work Environment”.
As a six-time winner of the Top Twenty Best Places To Work In Illinois, the Thomas team has advised and assisted well over 25,000 organizations through-out the Chicago area and the Midwest, in improving their office work environments by helping them to create great places to work for their people.
Creating a great place to work is not just about buying office furniture, it is all about TRANSFORMATION. We are in the transformation business! Helping businesses and organizations to transform their workplaces into EPIC GREAT PLACES TO WORK. Engaged workplaces where the employees are number one! We help create a priceless collaborative environment where employees are fully engaged and happy, and always put the customer first! This is transformation! This is what we do!
In any business or workplace, the right balance of Economics, Passion, the needs of the Individual and the Community will create a prosperous environment. A business that only focuses at one end of either spectrum will not be sustainable.
At Thomas Interior Systems, we approach every project with the goal of finding the perfect balance of the company’s economics, passions, individuals and community. A truly EPIC workplace extends far beyond the physical environment. It is infused in the people and culture of an organization.
This is a great book for employers, employees, and anyone interested in learning how to thrive in the workplace! In 2020, there will be FIVE different generations in the workplace and this book gives you great tips on how to communicate effectively with each of them. The book also highlights companies that do a good job creating positive work environments. Very informative and insightful read!
RE: THE GREAT WORKPLACE TRANSFORMATION
Klobucher’s book is a refreshing departure from most of the typical retirement planning books out there. After reading RETIREMENT: THE BEST IS YET TO COME! it now seems so obvious to me why some retirees I know are truly inspirational and others are the opposite. Clearly written, the beauty of the book lies in its simplicity with his list of 25 bold steps.

RE: Retirement: The Best Is Yet To Come!
First, I must say that I LOVE THIS BOOK. I think it should be required reading for everybody who runs a company. It is so humane and sensible. It is engaging, clearly written, and smart. Your story about your father moved me. I imagine he’d be so proud to know that you’ve incorporated his style and philosophy into what you do on many, many levels.

RE: THE GREAT WORKPLACE REVOLUTION
Heaven and Earth must come together to change a young man into an effective father. The Father in Heaven sometimes speaks to a young man through the most unexpected of sources, his father. I highly recommend THE TAILOR’S SON by Thomas Klobucher.

RE: The Tailor’s Son
“Tom KLobucher is a national treasure who, because of his sharp mind and observational skills, is able to distill the very most important concepts of what works and what doesn’t when trying to be the very best one can be. He takes the complicated and makes it doable (actionable). With Tom , there is none of the boring, ethereal, unintelligible nonsense. Nothing but meaty stuff.”
Jack Hungerford, Clinical and Organizational Psychologist
